India Incredible....

24th of April , Sachin's birthday, Headlines contained 2 major articles...
India joins an Elite space club that launches satellites in space commercially and Supreme Court of India decided to put a stay on the Quotas for OBC for yet another year!

India launched an Italian satellite payload 152 kgs., marking yet another milestone in its odyssey to space. The revenue was worth 11 million dollars as per some estimates, which reminds me of the fact that same payload would have costed around 56 million dollars in a NASA launch. The fact that we've been doing our work at such low prices is so alarming for International Agencies that they might come begging for us in the near future. India has already startled the science community by innovating things on its own for RnD and space progrrame but such cost effectiveness was never to be seen newhere in the world. Hope we continue to work like this in the future and ensure that next time we achieve soomething we r not the fifth or sixth in queue rather first!

In yet another epic decision, SCI decided to uphold the cause of hundred and thousands of students and youth, and put stay on the OBC quotas in elite institutions.SCI has also asked the Central Government to tell -y they should rather not implement it on the economically backward classes? Hopefully in absence of solid lobbying the ball shall be down played and justice will survive. While world is constantly bickering over the quality of professionals being produced, we dare not afford such idiocracies in the name of some fucking parties vote bank.
Though some (including me) feel that the decision is yet not complete, coz the ban is just for one year and the general elections are not yet lined up.
If the quota gets implemented, someone might show the urge to go and kill that asshole Arjun Singh with a baseball bat down his anus! I wonder if that guy is gonna be me...

Namastey London....

Yesternight I, along wid a couple of my friends went through Namsatey London. All the hype came crashing to shears with the start of the first scene. The movie absolutely lacks continuity and has fallen prey to bad direction, the only audience that sticks to their seat is due to Akshay's innocent comedy, Katrina's slender torso or to some extent the Purab and Paschim essence of the movie.

And coming to that Manoj Kumar act from Akshay, I must confess that one dialogue eally brought my senses reeling back to the movie...the scene when Katrina is getting engaged to her englih asshole and one of the guests at the party comments that India's still the land of snake charmers and apparently of call centers to the max. Here's a rough idea abt what he says:

"I bow in front of u and slaute u, due to a culture 5000 years old, that respects every individual and believes that none is big and none small. I hail from a country where a catholic woman refuses to hold the country's highest office for a sikh man who's sworn in by a muslim in a country of 80 % hindus!
I come from a country where 256 languages r spoken in 5000 dialects and newspapers r published in them so that 12 crore ppl read them, more then most countries' entire population. The internationl language English owes the origin of half its word to Sanskrit, we've got 3rd largest army in the world."

In addition quote Max Muller when he points to India when it comes to culture, when it comes to richness of lora and fauna and when it comes to diversity and integrity!
Quote Manoj Kumar when he says that India's contibution is 0, without which it would never have been possible t run in space and calculate heavenly distance.
We come from a land where people r not weighed by the color of their skin or by the dialect the speak but by the virtues that their character emanates!

I am proud to be an Indian and so should u....

Four point someone...

Appreciate… appreciate the things around you and that which life has brought to your door step. Envision the less fortunate each time you whinge about eating the same thing for breakfast for the whole week and each time you think about how old your shoes are. At least you have shoes.

Love… love those around you whom you hold dear. Tell them how much they mean to you. Hold them tight and do not ever let them go. Appreciate your loved ones, because they will be there for you no matter what. Each time you think your parents or friends are asking too much of you, think again. This person would fall in front of a moving train to save you.

Trust… Love without trust is like flowers without rain. Trust your loved ones, and also be the object of their trust. You are their world, and they are your world.

Family… the only people in the world who will care about you when everything has gone to shit; the only people who will care about you when you have nothing left; the only people who will always accept you for who you are, care for you and love you. Appreciate them. Love them always.
